| So far it looks like: NYC, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and wherever the hell Barry lives in Wisconsin. All I have to do is be back home by the 25th for VOODOO FEST!!!! WOOOO-HOOOO!!! | | |
| So, life is good. I have got a place I really like in the Marigny (I can now walk to my favorite bar, yeah!!!), I'll be sure to post pictures soon. Its only a month to month, which is perfect! I'll most likely move again but stay in the neighborhood in October. Work is tolerable, and I'm planning a vacation for October. No hurricanes yet, just some heavy rains, (knock on wood). Still working with New Orleans Habitat, my two weeks notice is being stretched to six, will be moving on to hopefully better things in October. Nothing to crazy to report, volunteer numbers are down at the moment, which really sucks, but we getting few big groups in Oct/Nov. Getting ready for Halloween, sure to be a blast in this crazy town!!!! Not sure what else to blahblah on about, just keep your fingers crossed that we make it through hurricane season! Peace y'all!!! | | |
| I would post, but I'm trying to be more positive and complain less, and nothing will come out pleasantly in the mood I'm in right now. I fucking hate insomnia, I just want to go to bed, but I'm all wound up and have to much on mind! UGH! To those michiganders who do not already know, I'll be in GR July 30st-August 6th. | | |
| Dear God! I have 3 weddings in August, and I'm a poor non-profiter! What the hell am I supposed to do? The cheapest ticket I can find if I fly directly into my hometown is over $450!! If I fly into The capital (about an hour away), I can get a flight for $364, but then I have to fly in and out on Mondays so I can get picked up/dropped off, and I sure as hell cannot take 8 days off of work when I'll need to take off two weeks later for two more weddings!) ACK! On a cheerier note, I spent the moring cleaning and organizing my office, and am twitching less (I'm a bit anal about the state of my office). Camp life is vibratnt as always, numbers will be down next week, which will be nice, NOT that I don't want as many volunteers as possible, but a slow week once in awhile keeps me from going bald! I've discovered the joy that is amazon.com and ordered a bunch of books and a couple of DVDs to pass the evenings at Camp, as I am trying to go out less... Except for: NEW ORLEANS PRIDEFEST THIS WEEKEND YAY!!! peace. | | |
| That could be a nifty band name! Myself and several friends fell into that category today as we were all rejected from donating at the Oschner Bloodmobile that came to camp. I'm planning a blood donor reject party.
Reasons we were rejected:
Todd: New piercing Lucinda: Tattoo within the last year (same for Foz) Spencer: Recent vaccinations for crazy diseases Myself: Under the wieght minimum Matt: IS A DIRTY FORREIGNER!! (Holland) Erin: Hadn’t eaten today, couldn't come back later Haeydia: Borderline anemic
SORRY FOLKS, WE TRIED! | | |
